Looking to start your career within Design? We have an exciting opportunity to join the Country Road Home team. You will assist in the development of range concepts, ensuring the quality of apparel is maintained through the development and production stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the home design team to research mood, interior, customer, and colour trends.
• Manage material, colour, and trend libraries eg pantone swatches and trend books, and set up digital and physical presentation boards.
• Work with designers to develop range concepts, draw up designs, and manage digital range boards.
• Coordinate with designers, buyers, and planners to prepare presentation samples and documents.
• Use digital systems to complete data administration tasks. Includes generation and management of style and colour codes and providing this data to relevant documents and stakeholders.
• Set up detailed product specification briefs to vendors.
• Review of design samples, and communication with vendors to progress the product development process.
• Management of Design and Marketing samples to ensure spaces are organised, on time distribution to marketing team, and removal to archive or sample sale.

Key Capabilities

• A tertiary qualification in Fashion or Textiles is preferred
• Experience with illustration software packages
• Experience having worked in a similar design led role in a fashion business would be beneficial
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally across the business
• Excellent attention to detail
• Working well within a team.
