This is not a behind-the-scenes position—this is a leadership role on the ground.

As a Tour Manager, you are responsible for delivering a tour experience that is:seamless, high-energy, deeply supportive, and unforgettable.

You will lead international dance groups across Australia, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard—while creating an environment where every participant feels seen, supported, and inspired.

🔥 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll take full ownership of the tour experience from start to finish:

Leadership & Experience

• Lead and manage SSO dance tours across Sydney, Melbourne & Gold Coast
• Create a positive, high-energy environment for dancers and chaperones
• Build strong, supportive relationships with participants and studio owners
• Act as a mentor and role model for young dancers

Operations & Logistics

• Execute daily itineraries with precision and professionalism
• Coordinate all transport, timings, and venue logistics
• Liaise with studios, vendors, and the SSO Head Office
• Ensure all participants are informed, on time, and where they need to be

Communication

• Deliver clear, confident updates to groups (including public speaking)
• Run daily briefings and chaperone meetings
• Maintain strong communication with studio owners and parents

Problem Solving & Care

• Manage unexpected changes, delays, or challenges calmly and efficiently
• Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and overall experience of every participant
• Be highly attuned to individual needs within the group

Content & Reporting

• Capture high-quality photos and videos throughout the tour
• Post daily content to social media (Instagram & Facebook)
• Collect testimonials and complete end-of-tour reporting

⭐ Skills & Experience

• Background in dance (teaching, performing, or studio leadership)
• Experience managing groups—especially teenagers
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Excellent communication and public speaking ability
• High level of professionalism and presentation
• Ability to adapt quickly and think ahead

Highly regarded:

• Event, tour, or competition coordination experience
• Strong connections within the Australian dance community
• First Aid certification & Working With Children Check
• Driver’s licence

💰 Pay & Perks

• $300 – $500 AUD per day (based on experience)
• Tours typically 13 days
• Travel-related expenses covered
• Opportunities for ongoing, repeat tours throughout the year
