Newcastle City Council (Newcastle Art Gallery)
Curatorial Officer (Exhibitions)
Newcastle Art Gallery is seeking a skilled Curatorial Officer (Exhibitions) to support the delivery of high‑quality exhibitions.
In an exciting time for our reimagined Newcastle Art Gallery, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Curatorial Officer (Exhibitions) to join the team in this permanent, full-time opportunity. As a member of our team, you won’t just work for the city; you’ll co-create it.

Collaborating across the Curatorial and Exhibitions team, you will play a key coordination role in realising high-quality exhibitions of temporary loans, new commissions, and the Gallery’s permanent collection. You will also contribute actively to the development and delivery of interpretive material relating to the artistic program, through writing, public talks and digital content in collaboration with Audience and Curatorial teams.
