The Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) is seeking a visionary Curator to lead its dynamic visual arts program. Situated in the heart of the Perth Cultural Centre, PICA is a nationally recognised, non-profit, multi-arts organisation dedicated to presenting and developing innovative exhibitions, performances and interdisciplinary projects.
As a key member of PICA’s senior management team, the Curator will oversee the development and delivery of a high-quality visual arts program that embodies PICA’s values of visionary thinking, connection, pathways, belonging and sustainability. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with artists, guest curators and writers to create impactful exhibitions that resonate with diverse audiences. The Curator will also lead a dedicated exhibitions team, ensuring the timely and professional delivery of projects within budget.
This is a part-time position (0.8 FTE) offering a salary of (pro rata) $90,000 per annum plus superannuation.
