ACT Administration & Government Engagement Coordinator.

We’re looking for a passionate and organised ACT & Government Engagement Coordinator to support our programs in education, concerts, and development

Permanent Part-time: 30 hours/4 days per week

MVA is one of the leading providers of music education in Australia. Proudly bringing music to schools for more than 40 years, helping shape the lives of generations of Australian children and reaching close to 300,000 students annually. Dynamic performances by culturally-diverse ensembles are complemented by comprehensive lesson plans, interactive content, and professional development for teachers, building the capacity of schools to inspire, teach, and instill a love of music.

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated early-career arts administrator to support our ACT education and concert programs and national government engagement initiatives.

We provide hybrid and flexible working options and have a centrally located office in Braddon. 

 This role is ideal for someone with a great eye for detail and process, strong administrative skills and an active interest in the arts, government and education. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Coordinate education and professional development activities across ACT schools; 

  • Support stakeholder engagement and fundraising initiatives; 

  • Assist with concert delivery in Canberra; 

  • Maintain accurate records and assist with government communications.
