About the role:

We’re looking for an ambitious media sales specialist with recent, relevant media and advertising experience and a keen interest in the creative industries to develop and grow new commercial advertising partnerships across memberships, classifieds listings and web/mobile/email/social media advertising.

As an experienced Account Manager in the Australian media industry, ideally with experience working with federal/state/local government clients, you’ll leverage your experience alongside our with leading organisations and brands and have the autonomy to develop and grow strong relationships nationally.

Within a boutique, passionate team culture, you will be encouraged to contribute to our success with input into the sales strategy, commercial product and sales operations, ensuring we’re optimised for success. As part of the sales team, you’ll have a voice within the team to ensure we deliver the best possible client experience across our network of brands – ArtsHub and ScreenHub.

We’re seeking someone who is motivated and strategic, a customer-first mindset and a highly organised, self-starter with a strong attention to detail and highly capable of managing up on their sales activities to achieve the required business objectives and commercial outcomes.

The candidate we’re looking for has:

  • 3+ years of recent experience selling media advertising in the Australian digital media industry
  • Full Australian working rights (Permanent visa or Australian/NZ citizen)
  • A proven sales performer with history achieving and exceeding their sales targets.
  • Strong government, agency and client/brand relationships in the Australian media market
  • Interested in the creative industries – arts, culture, gaming and entertainment
  • Ambitious, proactive and positive who thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about solving their client’s most important marketing problems
  • Consultative and collaborative, focused on effective marketing solutions
  • Highly organised and accountable, able to work remotely and autonomously
  • Responsible and operates with integrity
  • Capable of operating equally well independently and in a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
