A Flinders University Museum of Art exhibition curated with Associate Professor Ali Gumillya Baker, Un-Discipline showcases works by First Nations artists that challenge colonial ways of ordering the world. Drawing on story, culture, memory and activism, the exhibition foregrounds Indigenous knowledge systems and creative practices of refusal, reclamation and resistance. Together, the works unsettle fixed categories, dominant narratives, and assumptions about the methods, materials and expression of First Nations knowledge and culture.

Artists: Richard Bell, Peter Japanangka Blacksmith, Blak Laundry, Lorraine Connelly-Northey, Michael Cook, Selma Nunay Coulthard, Destiny Deacon, Karla Dickens, Ali Cobby Eckermann, Gordon Hookey, Vanessa Inkamala, Danie Mellor, Hayley Millar Baker, Nancy Naawi, Clinton Naina, Alexander Nganjmirra, Sonya Rankine, Michael Riley, Yhonnie Scarce, Darren Siwes, Uta Uta Tjangala and Judy Watson.
