Join us for the next THRIVE CONNECT meetup, an evening of practical insights, tools and connections to support your work in the creative industries.

Understanding workplace responsibilities, navigating contracts, or knowing where to go for support can feel complex, especially in freelance or project-based work. This session brings together two leading organisations to make it simpler.

Hear from experts at Creative Workplaces and Support Act as they share practical, free resources to help you build fair, safe and respectful workplaces, and sustain your own Wellbeing.

What you’ll learn

  • How to navigate workplace responsibilities with confidence.

  • Where to find trusted, practical resources (at no cost).

  • How to manage workplace pressure and psychosocial risks.

  • How to access support services and build healthier work practices.

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS

Monique Williams (Creative Workplaces/Creative Australia): With over 15 years of experience, Monique will showcase key tools and resources available through Creative Workplaces, including guidance on workplace responsibilities and practical templates to support fair, safe and respectful work.

Dr. Ash King (Support Act): As a psychologist and creative, Ash blends clinical expertise with lived experience in the arts. She will deliver practical strategies to navigate workplace pressure, manage psychosocial hazards, and build healthier cultures. You will also learn how to access the Wellbeing Helpline and other training resources.
