Join us during Reconciliation Week to explore the creation story for the Wurundjeri people and the greater Kulin Nation.
Led by First Nations educators, children will enjoy a combination of storytelling, Dreamtime stories, language, song, and dance as they explore Wurundjeri perspectives on Country, caring for Country, and caring for people. 
Gain an understanding of the importance of Country and its intrinsic connection to culture and knowledge for Wurundjeri People, and the importance of First Nations perspectives, as the longest continuous culture on earth, in both a historical context and in shaping how we understand the world today.

Free to attend. Bookings are essential.

About the Facilitator

The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation undertakes Aboriginal cultural heritage work, Cultural and education services and Land management.

The Corporation offers tailored cultural awareness and professional development sessions for upper primary to tertiary levels in schools, not for profit, government and corporate sectors and community organisations.

Join us in the Café!

Our Café is open, offering a variety of light refreshments including pastries, soup, scones, cakes and coffee. It is open from 11am-3pm and the perfect place to grab a bite after your class.

Other information:

Children are welcome to stay on after class and continue their own craft projects. While you’re here, feel free to explore the Bundoora Homestead exhibitions, gardens and cafe.
