The Daylight Moon
Francis Cai
Award-winning visual artist Francis Cai’s Canberra solo debut, The Daylight Moon, exhibits exquisite and surreal still and moving images. Utilising digital manipulation of black and white film negatives, Francis Cai creates a hyperreal space that is both ethereal and terrestrial, documenting his exhilarating, at times unsettling adventures in Australia as a Sydney-based artist from Shanghai.
The Daylight Moon will open alongside our other exhibitions: Life in the Old Dog,Yet by Brian Jones, Everlasting Happiness by Deborah White and Dark Silhouette by Helen Heslop.
