2024 and beyond for Regional Cultural Policy and Engagement in the Arts

This one-day symposium will examine the future of the arts, the challenges facing the industry and new opportunities for engagement.

The Evolution of Libraries

This symposium will discuss how public libraries can remain relevant and engaging in an era of changing community priorities.
The event will explore how libraries can continue driving consumer demand and will cover topics including readership trends, digitisation and technology, and community relevance and engagement. It will also examine the promotion of education and literacy, access and equity, and sustainability and environmental impact.

Cultural Tourism: Putting Arts and Culture on the Map

Event summary:
This one-day symposium will explore the impact of art and cultural experiences across the tourism industry.
Cultural Tourism is in the spotlight with the release of Creative Communities, the NSW Arts, Culture and Creative Industries Policy.
The policy aims to grow national and international audiences, drawing on diverse cultural experiences, art forms, and local initiatives. As a part of this ambition, NSW tourism will increase its focus on cultural experiences, including festivals and First Nations cultural tourism.
