In this workshop, award-winning writer Shailee Thomson discusses the common tropes and characteristics of romance. From there, she explores how to dissect them and use them to develop genre-bending stories that mix romance with horror, mystery and fantasy.
Under her guidance, participants play around with ideas, come up with their own definitions of genre-bending romance and learn how to create memorable characters and plots.
