On Saturday 22 August, Sydney Dance Company is opening the doors to its home at the Wharf Walsh Bay Arts Precinct for a full day of FREE dance classes, performances, open rehearsals, family activities and more, as part of our 40 Years at the Wharf celebrations.
Always wanted to learn to dance? Take a FREE 45-minute taster class and discover a range of styles, with sessions designed for different experience levels. Whether you’re completely new to dance, returning after some time away or looking for a new way to move, Open Day is the perfect opportunity to give it a go.
There’s plenty to experience beyond the dance floor too. Go behind the scenes with Sydney Dance Company’s Ensemble at a special open rehearsal, see live performances, discover Pilates in our Conditioning Studio, or bring the family along for free sessions for children, toddlers and their grown-ups.
Plus, enjoy special Open Day offers on classes and merchandise, available in-studio on the day.
