In this workshop, author and publisher Les Zigomanis explains what traditional, self, indie and partnership publishing models are. He explores the pitfalls, how to spot scams and what questions to ask so that you find the best possible publishing option for your book. 

Using his years of experience in the industry, he will show tips and tricks to prepare the manuscript, how to spot a scam, talk about query letters and what to expect if a tradional publisher is interested in your book. 

Participants will leave the course with information on what’s the best fit for their book, how to prepare the course of action and what to avoid.

About the Tutor:

​​Les Zigomanis is an author and screenwriter. He’s had six novels published, and his short stories and articles have appeared in print and digital journals. He’s also had four screenplays optioned and a raft of screenplays place in numerous competitions. He has worked in publishing for the last twenty years, firs as an editor and publications manager and, for the last five years, as a production coordinator.
