Hosted by ACCA Education, this one-off session explores the exhibition Are You Lonely Tonight? I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, the first exhibition in the Art and Emotion series. Through guided discussion and hands-on drawing workshop, parents, carers and teens are invited to reflect, create, and discover new artworks and creative techniques together.

The workshop includes a guided exhibition tour followed by a practical studio session inspired by the exhibition’s central theme: the human experience of loneliness and connection.

Through creative activities, participants will explore contemporary art alongside the themes of loneliness, empathy and connection in a welcoming and supportive environment. Together, you’ll discover how art can open new conversations, build empathy, and help us make sense of the emotions we all experience.

Come curious and leave inspired, with new artworks, fresh perspectives, and meaningful conversations.

No artistic experience is required, just curiosity and a willingness to create together.

For ages 11 – 18 years. All teen participants are to be accompanied by a parent or carer.
