Please join us to celebrate the opening of ‘Navigating Histories’ on Thursday, 2 May, from 6 to 8 pm.
Dr Shaune Lakin, Senior Curator of Photography at the National Gallery of Australia, will formally open the exhibition at 6:30 pm.
Featuring – Ren Gregorčič, Phuong Le, Chris Siu, Estelle Yoon
Weaving together historical narratives and their contemporary reverberations, ‘Navigating Histories’ explores displacement, resilience, and identity. Through video and documentary photography, the artists explore societies in transition. They navigate geopolitical complexities and historical imprints while communities enact their narratives in new environments or amidst evolving scenes at home, continuously adapting and shaping their sense of place.
