Creative Hearts Art Retreats are powerful, transformational, life-enriching experiences. Our retreats provide an inspirational artistic adventure where renowned prophetic artist Wendy Manzo and creative coach Andy Hamish Smith will take you on a journey to understand your intuitive process and develop your innate talents.
It’s more than art! This is a creative self-development course. We aim to provide you with much more than an art class in a beautiful relaxing atmosphere, as lovely as that is, but also give you a greater sense of who you are, equipped with skills for lifelong creative adventures.
Regardless of where you are in your art journey when you come away from the bustling crowds and join us for a Creative Hearts Art Retreat in one of the world’s most beautiful tranquil locations, you will uncover your creative potential.
Our aim is to refresh you from all cares of the everyday in order to release the real you. Relaxed. Restored. Reconnected.
This retreat includes three nights of luxury accommodation, three blissful morning breakfasts, five sessions of ‘Creative Breakthrough and Release’, over one evening ‘welcome session’ and two workshop days. These are practical and interactive prophetic art workshop sessions where you will explore working directly from your imagination and learn how to develop your own language of creativity. There are practical-hands-on, theoretical, and reflective components in these sessions. Your retreat experience will birth renewed trust in intuition and spontaneity, and release freedom in your painting. You’ll also have time to paint freely and relaxation time.
Art materials are provided, and you will take your paintings home. (For your luggage or postal purposes, canvases measure 60cm x 60cm.)
We suggest adding a weekend before or after your retreat at one of the many awesome Gold Coast venues to fully enjoy the Gold Coast experience. Take the opportunity to visit tourist favourites (such as the cafe beach scene from Main beach to Mermaid Beach-Miami, Springbrook world heritage rainforest, snorkelling off Palm Beach, eat-street night-life at Surfers Paradise, kayaking to Stradbroke Island, organic markets at Burleigh Beach, or visit a theme park).

Please note, there are always various “grades” of accommodation within the villas, some rooms with ensuite, some with King, Queen, or Double beds, and the share rooms may have Double, Single, or Bunk beds. Check-out – 23rd November, promptly at 10am
All seminar, workshop and class sessions. All art materials are supplied, however you may bring your favourites if you like. You will take home your painted canvases.
Private luxury accommodation
Daily breakfast, simple lunch and afternoon tea in the villa. All-day coffee via Nespresso.
What is not included: airfares or travel expenses to/from Gold Coast, transfers, travel insurance, alcoholic beverages (except for Champagne @ ‘Meet’n’Greet’), meals inside or outside the villa (Tues/Weds), shopping, gratuities, and any optional activities.

Only your deposit is taken through Eventbrite. Once your place is secure, you will receive instructions for the direct transfer of balance payments. Deposit: 15% Must be paid prior 5pm, 15th September 2023. The places are strictly limited to 8 people, first-in-first-secured.
Balance: 85% Due 5pm, 28th October 2023. (Please note, after this time your place will be offered to the waiting list and any refund forfeited.)
Note the payment schedule is strict and cannot be changed. Thank you for understanding.
Up until 5pm 28th October 2023, a full refund is issued: get back 100% of what you paid in deposit, however, there is no refund of the Eventbrite service fee unless the event is cancelled.
After 5pm 28th October 2023, partial refund: Get back 50% of what you paid, except there is no refund of the service fee unless the event is cancelled.
After 5pm, 5th November 2023, no refund, no correspondence entered into.
Code of Conduct:
The course is highly experiential and practice-based. Participants may be exposed to experiences, memories, and subconscious processes that may evoke a variety of emotions and offer opportunities for self-discovery and revelation. We maintain an environment safe for each participant and aim for our time together to be fun and a happy experience for all. You will be required to maintain a safe place for yourself and your fellow artists throughout the duration. Please note that anyone who behaves in a disrespectful or disruptive manner will be asked to leave with no refund or rescheduling.
Photography or video within the Workshop by participants is not permitted, other than of your own work.
Please also be aware that it is your responsibility to leave your workspace beautifully clean and paint-free. We have allowed time within your workshop schedule to set up, pack up and clean up. We like to leave our venue hosts with a GOOD impression of art and artists!
