In recent years, crowd sourced funding has been the next wave of giving, matching everyday start-out philanthropists with short-term project-driven campaigns by small to mid-scale organisations. 

As professionals in the arts, where the dollar is often a struggle, we have fed off tips on how to do it right, how to be visible, how to avoid burn out and how to work out the best shopping list of giveaways for donations.
