Michael Gentle is an arts writer and assistant curator the The State Library Victoria. Currently completing his BA in Art History and English & Theatre Studies from the University of Melbourne, Michael has worked with cultural institutions across the country in curatorial, education and production roles. Michael is a Nyoongar man with ancestral connections to Minang Boodjar and English settlers. He is excited by contemporary art and design that resists categorisation and makes fun of what is considered normative.
