Among the works on display at the Sydney Mardi Gras this year are a bunch of photographic exhibitions designed to challenge our expectations about sex.

Belinda Mason’s exhibition of portraits Outing Disability, exposes that often invisible issue of sex and gender for those living with disability; Company of Men, pushes the boundaries of male connectivity through photography, video and performance art; and the group exhibition We are family spins a new definition that challenges religious, societal and gender relationships at the Australia Centre of Photography.
