Federal Government injects further $35M; Support Act relief extended to all performing arts

Additional funding for Support Act and the Sustainability Fund hopes to keep the live performance sector afloat.

Today (10 August), the Morrison Government announced an additional $35 million in support for arts workers and companies, including $20 million for the arts charity Support Act and $15 million for the COVID-19 Arts Sustainability Fund.

The latest funding increases the Federal Government’s Creative Economy COVID support package to $475 million, from an original $250 million in 2020.
