Australia Council puts grants on hold following budget cuts

The Australia Council for the Arts’ Chief Executive Officer, Tony Grybowski, wrote to arts organisations on Friday to warn them that last week’s unexpected budget cuts will impact on the roll-out of the new six-year funding cycle.

‘I am writing in response to the volume of questions and concerns voiced by many of you following the measures announced as part of the 2015-16 Budget on Tuesday evening,’ Grybowski’s letter read.
