Alongside being exhilarating, productive and exploratory, a day in the life of a creative can also be riddled with procrastination, self-doubt, umpteen deadlines and the juggle of a day job.

Good habits can help keep us on track. Yet waking up at 5am to exercise followed by a green smoothie might not be a cure-all for the particular difficulties in building a career in the arts.
