Whether you are an emerging artist seeking a definitive career launchpad or an established professional, the Homiens Art Prize represents a meritocratic and prestigious gateway to significant industry recognition. As a premier international initiative awarding over $12,000 USD in annual unrestricted funding, our non-acquisitive (ownership retained by the artist) prize serves as a catalyst for measurable professional growth.

  • Eligibility: Open to all artists and art forms. Works completed in any year are eligible.
  • Prizes: This round, 3 winning artists and 12 finalists will exhibit with Homiens as part of our seasonal exhibition program. Each winning artist receives an unrestricted cash award of $1,000 USD, may participate in The Art of Art: Interviews (our artist interview series), and may request a letter of recommendation from our jurors. Up to 200 highly commended artists per round are celebrated across our media (including our website which receives 100,000+ annual visitors, and our extensive mailing list). Each entrant to the Homiens Art Prize may request a participation certificate which can be used to contribute towards a demonstration of professional participation in the art industry.
  • Further Initiatives: Our prize additionally offers international visibility via exciting features such as our curated Meet the Artists initiative and our Promoted Artists program.
