The 7th Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale – 2025 is the only watercolour festival in Australia to run over 6 days – 17 to 22nd September 2025, in Cairns tropical North Queensland – featuring Workshops and Demos from Master Artists of Australian and International experience, for you to discover and be inspired to create new Works yourself, this is our 7th year and so we have built a network of Artists and Collectors who now follow the ‘Muster’ to learn and buy, come and join us!!
In Addition you can be part of our Exhibition of exceptional Artworks from Australian and International Artists running from the 17th September to 8th November, all available for sale.
For Artists – this is an opportunity to build new networks, meet other Artists from around the globe, and discover the EXCEPTIONAL!
A time to grow your own Studio and Exhibition practices with other like minded creatives.

To be part of our International Art Exhibition 2025 – which forms the backbone of our Australian Watercolour Muster Biennale you will need to be ready to submit your Watercolour Artwork starting on the 5th May and this Call For Entries, closes on the 4th July for our Jurors to select – the ’32 Best Australian Artworks’ from 3 Categories and 17 International Masters selected from the International Entries in Category 4.
Artists selected for these two Exhibitions will be showcased at the Cairns Court House Gallery – from the 17th September to the 8th November 2025 and all accepted Entries will be also showcased internationally across 90 Countries on our Australian Watercolour Muster Digital Gallery – over the same dates and available for sale to Collectors viewing the portal!
