The ‘Caelene nee Glen’ Art Gallery is nestled in the gorgeous Martin Street Village, Brighton in Victoria; and hosts solo and group exhibitions for contemporary artists.
The Summer Small Works Art Prize returns in 2025 with a new theme ‘Under the Surface’.
Applications are open to Australian & NZ artists, over the age of 18 years.
The small size and theme encourages creatives to test their boundaries of interpretation, medium and technique.
Prizes:

1 artwork will be awarded $1000 prize money (non-acquisitive) with artwork featured in the 2026 gallery calendar

11 artworks will each be awarded $100 prize money (non-acquisitive) with artwork featured in the 2026 gallery calendar
- Further sponsorship prizes will be announced in the coming months.
Exhibtition:
- All artworks exhibited for sale, promoting artwork gifting during holiday season
- 2026 calendar launched at exhibition opening

- Delivery of artworks: 11 Jul – 9 Nov 2025.
- Opening event & prize announcements: Thu 20 Nov 2025, 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
