Small Arts Projects (SAP)

The  Small Arts Project grant category supports arts and cultural activities across the NT that increase community access, engagement, and participation in the arts.

Prioritises applicants in ‘Very Remote Australia’, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, young people, people with disability, seniors and multicultural communities.

Examples:

• A series of theatre workshops for young people resulting in a performance created by the young participants and open to the wider community to attend
• A visual arts project with participants from multicultural backgrounds, resulting in an exhibition and community celebration
• Engagement of an Aboriginal Elder as the cultural workshop teacher for the sharing of knowledge and preservation of traditional arts practice

Funding available

Up to $5,000 per application, per financial year, available to individuals, groups and organisations
