Exhibit with us in 2027-2028
Local or visiting contemporary artists, artist groups or curators can apply to exhibit or curate exhibitions of new works at Sauerbier House in one or more of three very distinct gallery spaces. Whilst exhibiting, artists/curators are requested to facilitate an opportunity for visitors to deepen their understanding of the work, the processes, concept, or practice of represented artists. These supported exhibitions run for up to six weeks. Alongside inkind support an install support payment of $400 is paid per exhibition. Extra fiscal support will be given to host a skill sharing workshop or talks.
Successful artists will be selected by the Sauerbier House Reference Group based on the criteria:
- merit – originality and developed concepts evident in proposal
- engagement – ability to facilitate creative opportunities for community
- viability – suitable to be exhibited within SH facilities
- capacity – ability for artist to fulfil exhibition expectations
- work has not been exhibited in the City of Onkaparinga.
Exhibitions will take place at Sauerbier House between May 2027 and June 2028.
