Expressions of Interest are now open for ROAM Geelong – Victoria’s newest arts event designed to engage audiences in a multi-sensory, interactive and participatory experience.
On Saturday 11 October from 4 pm to 10 pm, ROAM Geelong will transform the arts and cultural precinct and Johnstone Park with large-scale performances, immersive and interactive installations, and collaborations with local artists and institutions.
Through art, performance, and storytelling, the event invites creatives to explore local identity and place, bringing attention to both well-known and hidden narratives. This focus deepens the community’s connection to the city and celebrates the character and diversity that defines Geelong.
City of Greater Geelong is calling all artists and creatives including physical theatre, installation and digital artists, musicians and more to be a part of this cultural experience. We invite submissions to create immersive projections, interactive installations and site-specific performances that spill out into the laneways, courtyards and facades of the cultural precinct.
Concepts should respond directly to the stories, architecture and people of Geelong, grounding the spectacle in place and identity.
Applications are open now at geelong.smartygrants.com.au/2025ROAM and close 11:59 pm Sunday 22 June.
