At Box Hill Institute, we’ve been changing lives for the better since 1924, and we’re committed to continuing to make this world a better place. We believe that everyone deserves to have the skills to live an enriching fulfilling life. Our vision is to support skilled people in shaping a better world. We do this through our strategic goals of providing lifelong learning, focussing on our employees, building strong foundations and leading the evolving economy. We draw on our values of curious, trustworthy and compassionate to drive us in our vision. With over 10,000 students enrolled for 2025, we believe we have a great responsibility and ability to connect people to life changing learning.
Our Reflect RAP signifies the start of a deeper, more intentional commitment to reconciliation. It encourages us to prioritise listening, engaging in profound learning, and establish strong foundations for the future of reconciliation at Box Hill Institute. We acknowledge that RAP is not merely a document; it is an ongoing practice. This practice requires all of us to reflect on the past, take responsibility in the present, and collaboratively shape a better future.
We are commissioning a meaningful artwork to be used in our RAP document and across other platforms including but not limited to our website, internal and external communications, and physical office spaces.
We are seeking an artist to collaborate with us to create a piece of work that reflects the spirit of reconciliation, our organisation’s journey in reflecting on the role we play in reconciliation and our ongoing journey to building stronger relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

• Artists whose work and storytelling align with reconciliation and Box Hill Institute’s values
• Artists who are open to collaborating with us and sharing the story behind their artwork
