Held by coastal bushland, amazing views of shifting tides, and open skies, All That We Are offers a residency shaped by landscape, quiet rhythms, and gentle host support to deepen creative thinking. Our Main House welcomes artists for focused two-week, self-catering stays in well-appointed, beautiful rooms connected to creative spaces. Two independent artists wishing to stay for the same period can access a special shared-period rate.
For those seeking a deeper immersion, the Shaper Studio — a self-contained space with its own small painting studio — is designed for four-week retreats. It suits artists wanting solitude, continuity, and a slower creative arc.
Residencies for 2026 are now open, and all bookings made before December 31 are offered at 2025 rates. Much of 2026 is already fully booked, so most remaining availability is in the second half of the year, with a few places still open before May.

Artists may also choose to add a three-session creative coaching package at a resident-only rate to help clarify or reimagine their creative direction and broader artistic life.
Although the residency feels secluded and quiet, we are conveniently located just 20 minutes from Hobart Airport, 30 minutes from Hobart city, and 40 minutes from MONA.
