This artwork will celebrate a passion for sport within the community, highlighting Lane Coves rich history of health and wellbeing, its connection to the natural environment, and its reputation for fostering active, vibrant lifestyles.
The commissioned artwork is a design for a printed mural on a metal panel, hung at the entry of the building.
The mural should:
Inspire and celebrate: Highlight the sports activities undertaken at the Centre, showcasing community passion and pride.
Reflect Local Identity: Embrance Lane Coves leafy environment, connection to nature, and dedication to wellbeing and sustainability.
Innovative Design: Present cutting-edge and creative concepts that will make a bold statement at the facilitys enterance
Location: Undercover of the external wall of the on-ground entrance to the Sport and Recreation Centre
Submissions are open to all eligable applicants, regardless of race, sex, religion, nationality, origin, or disability.
Budget: $7,000
