Creative Brimbank and Brimbank City Council’s In-site: Brimbank Environmental Art Residency invites artists to actively engage with the environment through creative practice.
The residency offers an opportunity for professional and artistic growth, including financial support, access to a dedicated studio/office space for six months, and the potential to exhibit new work.
Selected artists (or collectives) will be supported to develop and share their practice with the community through workshops or site-specific activations, or exhibitions at the Bowery Gallery, Brimbank Gallery or Brimbank Projection Gallery.
The program encourages artistic exchange and fosters meaningful dialogue about the relationship with the world around us.
The residency runs from 1 February – 1 August 2026
Artists receive a $5,000 cash contribution
