Anglesea Art Space is a community-based shopfront gallery run by Surf Coast Shire Council, located at Kuarka Dorla – the Wadawurrung traditional name for Anglesea River, a place to catch mullet.
This light-filled, accessible venue welcomes emerging and established artists across all disciplines – from visual art and performance to installation – to exhibit, create, and experiment at minimal cost.
Exhibiting at Anglesea Art Space offers artists the chance to:
-
Reach new audiences – connecting with both locals and visitors.
-
Build professional experience – gain skills in curating, presenting, and promoting work.
-
Connect with community – engage with fellow creatives and audiences.
-
Gain visibility – with support and promotion from the Surf Coast Shire Arts Team.
It’s the perfect place to showcase creativity, sell artworks, grow professionally, and be part of the Surf Coast’s thriving arts scene.
