Set for completion in 2027, Curtin University’s B316 Sciences Building is an ambitious 20,000m² research and teaching facility designed to create a monumental shift, empowering students and staff to make a lasting impact on scientific industries.
Three significant artwork opportunities have been identified as part of the B316 Sciences Building project. Opportunity one is for the public realm connecting spaces around B316 for Noongar artists only, opportunities two and three are for works within the B316 building and courtyard, open to all Australian creatives.
Expressions of interest from Australian artists and creatives are now open for all three artwork commissions. Artists of all levels of experience are encouraged to express their interest.
From the expressions of interest received, several artists will be selected to develop concept designs for a fee.
