Belco Arts invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Ngunnawal and other First Nations artists, filmmakers, animators and designers for a Ngunnawal / First Nations digital video work to launch a new, ongoing program for projections. The successful submission will be awarded a Project Fee of $8000.
The long-awaited outdoor lakeside projector system at Belconnen Arts Centre has been installed, and we are very excited to be preparing to launch our new curated program of bespoke digital artworks. This program will be projected onto the west-facing side of the Theatre, above the external café & bar seating area.
It will be a program for all ages, presented every day from sundown to 9pm throughout non-daylight savings months (April–September).
This is an opportunity for new works currently in production, or to present works already made but which have not been shown in the ACT.
Through this commission and presentation, we would like to acknowledge and pay our deepest respect for Ngunnawal and other First Nations peoples who have made this region their home.

The work will need to
· Be between 8 -12 minutes in length and silent.
· Be suitable for general audience including unsupervised minors.
· Comply with Terms and Conditions for projected works as listed on our site.
· Be completed and delivered by Friday 15 May 2026
· Be ready for the launch of the program on Friday 22 May 2026
· Be presented for the duration of the presentation period until 5 July 2026
All EOI submissions must be received no later than 6 April 2026.
