photoED Magazine shares diverse photography stories in a brand new light.

Issue #76 issue will feature the work of photographers exploring Order VS Chaos – with UNIQUE, LENS BASED methods.

Our 2026 season explores fresh directions in photography, exploring contrasting themes interpreted through photographers lenses. This Call seeks submissions of fine art photography projects that present Order and minimalism, or observe Chaos and maximalism, OR juxtapose the two.

We are looking to PUBLISH – in print and online:

● WELL CONSIDERED SUBMISSIONS – This is a project/ idea that you have laboured over

● Diverse interpretations on this theme

● FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY – NOT stock photography

● Your ORIGINAL – artistic work

● Existing projects/ works only. This is not a call for commissions.

Submissions are blind reviewed by Volunteer Curatorial Editorial board members.

When examining entries, the jury will assess how the work presents a unique interpretation on this theme: Order VS Chaos.

Submissions are open to:

  1. Emerging photographers, and established pro’s – Worldwide*
  2. photoED paid PATREON PATRONS and subscribers to our PRINT editions submit their work FREE and as community members, and they will automatically receive a copy of this edition when it’s available in April 2026.
  3. ● OPTIONAL: NON-Subscribers / NON-Patrons may opt to pre-purchase a single print copy of the Order VS Chaos edition as part of this submission. This fee is a PRE-SALE that covers our cost to produce and post you a SINGLE, PRINTED copy of the publication.

    ● All entrants may opt in to receive free access to the photoED Magazine’s DIGITAL replica edition of the issue.

    NOTE:

We highly recommend reading a print (or digital replica) of our most recent edition in advance of making your submission.

This research step will assist YOU in determining if your work is a fit for our publication. Lots of people take nice photos, we’re looking to showcase unique perspectives.

Submitting images to photoED Magazine does not transfer any rights of ownership – the photographer retains full rights. We do not ask for exclusivity and the photographer is free to submit the image to any other publication/ project or exhibition. The owner of the photograph allows us the rights to publish and promote their work with credit, on our print and digital platforms. By submitting work to this Call for Submissions the photographer acknowledges that they have full rights to the images and has obtained proper releases where warranted.
