Applications are now open for exhibition proposals from artists, artist collectives, and curators to be part of our 2026 artistic program at Platform.
Platform is a satellite, artist-run space that supports career development and provides opportunities for artists based in Kamberri/Canberra and beyond, with a particular focus on emerging practitioners. Platform is a space that encourages experimentation, offering the freedom to test ideas with the guidance of mentorship and marketing support from the Canberra Contemporary team.
In addition to maintaining FREE spaces for artists and curators to exhibit, we are also introducing some new features in 2026 to better support artists in our program:
- Extended exhibition period: now four weeks instead of three, allowing greater engagement.
- Professional exhibition documentation provided at no cost to the artist.
Applications close Friday 19 September, 5pm (AEST).
Visit the website to read the guidelines and complete online application form.
