Annual Art Grants and Residencies

Call all creatives – it’s time to make your vision a reality through the City of Melbourne’s Annual Arts Grants program, now open for 2025 projects. 

Whether you compose, paint, sculpt, dance, write, perform, film or produce, each year we offer grants of up to $20,000 to make your project happen. 

We will fund creatives in either:   

Annual arts grants – Grants available up $20,000 for one-off arts projects that result in a public outcome either online or within Melbourne municipality. Grants available to individuals, groups, small to medium arts organisations.   

Art residencies – Grants available up to $5,000 and provide studio spaces and facilities for artists and small to medium arts organisations to develop their creative practice.
