Since 2004, we have helped photographers worldwide to create, exhibit and inspire, awarding over $930,000 in cash and prizes. The Head On Photo Awards 2025 offer a $75,000 prize pool, printed exhibitions in public spaces and online presence as part of the Sydney-based Head On Photo Festival 2025, a globally acclaimed arts festival. Entries are judged anonymously, ensuring that the selected work represents a global selection from emerging and established photographers across all styles, techniques and genres. The Head On Photo Awards showcase the best work from emerging and established photographers across three categories: Portrait | Landscape | Exposure The Head On Portrait, Landscape, and Exposure Awards are open to photographers of all levels, both Australian and international.
