About Bayley Arts
Bayley Arts, located in Highett on Bunurong Country, is a community arts space initiated by Bayley House, an organisation that specialises in supporting adults with an intellectual disability live a full, rich and rewarding life.
The venue opened in September 2023 and boasts accessible art studios and a professional art gallery with an aim to build social inclusion and opportunities for artists of all abilities. During the day, the studios offer a wide range of NDIS recreational art activities and supports artists with professional development opportunities in the arts industry.
The Bayley Arts Gallery
Bayley Arts Gallery hosts an exciting exhibition program. This includes exhibitions by external hirers, collaborative projects with established artists, and curated exhibitions with Bayley Art artists, thus creating a dynamic and unique dialogue in the contemporary arts. The Gallery is open to the public from Monday to Friday and during special events on the weekend.
The Gallery is now accepting exhibition proposals from artists, school groups and creative collectives to be part of our vibrant 2026 program. We welcome exhibitions, film, installations, and creative research outcomes. Artists at all stages of their careers and abilities are encouraged to apply.
Hiring our Gallery helps support the work we do and works towards our vision of art for all.
