WA Premier’s Book Awards shortlist announced

The Western Australian Premier’s Book Awards continues to attract the finest literary works created in Australia and recognises talented works published throughout 2012. With over 500 entries from fiction and non-fiction writers, the 15 judges faced a challenging task. 

David Brooks’ fourth novel, The Conversation features in the shortlist as well as Deborah Forster’s The Meaning of Grace, which delves into the complexity of family relationships.
