While the Stella Prize celebrations continue and the Miles Franklin reveals its all-female shortlist, one of the most prestigious literary awards will not be presented this year.

Allen & Unwin today announced that the judges of The Australian/Vogel’s Literary Award have been unable to select a winner for the annual prize. Awarded to a writer under the age of 35 for an unpublished manuscript, the Vogel is one of the most prestigious and sought-after awards for young authors.
