Eleven candidates have been long-listed for the Miles Franklin Literary Award, as announced today by its trustee, The Trust Company.

Two debut and two former-winning authors are in the running for what is widely recognised as Australia’s most prestigious literature accolade, and the $60,000 prize that accompanies it.
