Stranded art workers call on government help

Stranded in NSW with no work and no way to get home, arts workers plead for the VIC and SA Governments to take urgent action.

Considered ‘non-essential,’ performer Kathleen Moore’s application to return home has been rejected four times by the Victorian Border Control.

Travelling from Melbourne to Sydney to work on Come From Away, Moore was stood down from employment without pay due to NSW lockdown. To make matters worse, she wasn’t released from her performing contract until after the NSW/Victoria border was closed.
