The Company sold out its Christmas season of Ben Stevenson’s The Nutcracker so quickly it is already planning a revival for 2014.

But meanwhile the Ballet has decided to stage an extra benefit performance in order to establish a Queensland Ballet Dancer Retraining Fund to assist ballet dancers at the end of their dancing career. Retired dancers will be provided with assistance in the form of grants and training, in order to help them with the transition from a career of performing.
