Sidney Myer Creative Fellows announced

Nine Australian artists have each received $160,000 over two years in recognition of their talent and courage.

Uncertainty sits at the heart of being an artist; it takes courage to pour yourself into a work, to devote time and effort to something that ‘doesn’t make money’. For a decade, the Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships have been celebrating that courage and granting artists the opportunity to take their next leap of faith.

This year, nine diverse artists across Australia and from multiple disciplines have each secured a generous grant of $160,000 over two years thanks to the Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships.
