QANTAS and MONA get into bed

Tasmania’s Museum of Old and New Art pairs with airline in bid to increase ticket sales.

It is hoped that the partnership between the iconic Australian airline and Tasmania’s subterranean museum of sex and death will increase ticket sales for both parties. It will include flights, media and marketing support, in-flight entertainment and a presence in the in-flight magazine for MONA.

MONA Creative Director Leigh Carmichael said that the partnership demonstrated confidence in Tasmania as a cultural destination.
