In a rapidly changing world where once-stable institutions such as newspapers, marriage and the two-party political system are struggling to remain relevant, the arts are a beacon of hope, according to Next Wave Festival’s Artistic Director, Emily Sexton.

Richard Watts OAM is ArtsHub's National Performing Arts Editor; he also presents the weekly program SmartArts on Three Triple R FM.
