New screen opportunity for live performers

The traditional variety format is getting a new lease of life, giving performers in a range of genres an opportunity to break in to television.

SBS’s pay television arm  STUDIO TV (STVDIO) has announced a six-episode one-hour variety series, to be produced by Melbourne production company Renegade (RocKwiz) and hosted by You Am I frontman Tim Rogers.
